Destination Koh Bulon...The group of Bulon Islands lies 20 kilometres off the mainland coast of Satun, one of Thailands most southern provinces, that borders Malaysia. Only 2 islands out of the group numbering 5 are inhabited. Bulon Leh Island features some hundred metres of beautiful beaches on its eastern coast, resulting in the development of some small resorts on the island. Bulon Le is part of Koh Petra National Park, that was established in 1984 and covers 495 square kilometres of the Andaman Sea including some fairy-tale like rock formations, that are visible from Bulon Leh Island. The northern part of the island has a sea gypsy settlement and some rocky bays, but no beaches. There are no streets on the island, however the size is that small, that nearly all places can be reached in about half hour by walking along the trails, that pass through the lush green vegetation of the island.
